There are many factors involved but I believe the most important is the quality of the education. You want to be certain that your child is learning functional or practical knowledge and not a gender studies degree which is a niche field and may be difficult to be employed. If the field is IT, industry certifications may be enough to get in the door. Be wise, yall!

I have also discussed about the quality, it must be ensured. Specially in my country perspective, it requires a lot of struggle for the parents as well as the child to have an higher education degree from abroad. So if quality is not confirmed, his struggles may in vain.
