How to Install New Tubeless Tires on Your Mountain Bike

in DTube2 years ago

It was time for new tires on the Surly ECR. After a few years of riding and lots of pin holes leaking sealant overnight, I decided to purchase some WTB Rangers in 29x3.0 to replace the Knards. This video shows how to install new tubeless tires on your mountain bike. Hope you enjoy.

Nice and useful video! Recently, I was changing a tire on my son's electric scooter... Seeing how you put your back easily, I'm jealous... lol... It was a pain in the ass to put back that small 8.5-inch shit... lol...

Yes, these tire were pretty easy to get back on haha.

Super useful info. I don't know why it took me so long to go tubeless. Found four thorns on my tire after a race last month while at least 3 guys abandoned. Btw, I thought my 2.4 wtb's were huge, but the 3.0 are enormous. Love it.

I'm a big fan of tubeless. As long as you maintain the sealant, it works really well. Then you can add some of these Stan's Darts into your kit as well :) https://www.notubes.com/dart

Uh yeh, I need one of those indeed. I'm still carrying a tube in my jersey pocket... who knows

Btw, today the tubeless saved me as I ran over a cactus by mistake \o\ just heard the psssss and then it was sealed. I've switched the WTB 2.4's for Maxxis Ikon 2.35. Been great so far. The 2.35 are wider than the 2.4's, which is weird.
