It is human nature that we do not appreciate that thing when it is with us, but after losing it, we realize its importance. There is a tradition in my country that after the death of any elder, a public feast is organized to save the dead person from the torture of Hell. But does it really happen?. No one knows what happens to this soul after death, then why do we imagine such a thing. After the death of the parents or elders whom we are not able to serve while living, how can we do their welfare by giving them a public banquet to improve their hereafter. The greatest happiness and greatest salvation is to serve the parents during their lifetime. Therefore it becomes necessary to support them in their time of need, serve them as much as possible, surely the door of heaven will automatically open for them.
