ZCash isn’t Private At all! It’s Garbage!

⬆️ clip from Tim Pool Show talking about Forbes report about Snowden being apart in creating ZCash. ( next part that was here has been removed due to possibly being incorrect about the privacy flaw - Edit)

I see some people jumping into ZCash after the Snowden news. It isn’t a real privacy token at all. Read below and see. They can’t show to regulators and be a real privacy token.

Please dont spread FUD based on associations. The same US government institutions also funded TOR, the internet and all kinds of research. I just called out a Zcash employee for claiming without evidence that Monero doesn't protect its users against surveillance, and I don't want our side to make such baseless claims either.

No one who understands cryptography will deny that shielded Zcash transactions are private. It's just impractical to use ZEC that way, because it was rushed into production before the technology was ready. The danger of Zcash is that users will use transparent transactions to buy and sell ZEC on exchanges.

It's ridiculous to suggest that Snowden still works for the CIA after leaking so much intel.

I’m aware
But DARPA hasn’t done many privacy crypto tokens. I don’t see why being involved in those projects = this with Zcash is fine and dandy.

I will however edit and make clear the privacy part of it. Fair is fair. I jumped the gun a bit on something I need to dig more into at the least👍 Cheers 🍻

Hmmm, I got only 0.0010 Zcash, about $0.15 worth, not worth panicking about.

Thanks for your explanation but i need to know more.
