Moving hundreds of millions of people from tropical climates to colder climates has been the single largest contributor to global warming of the past few decades.
People must burn fossil fuels to keep from freezing to death.
Of course, people are not allowed to mention this inconvenient truth.
There is another strange phenomena that I did not realize. Apparently food grows all year round in the tropics. Yes, we can burn fossil fuels to provide fresh food all year round.
Burning fossil fuels to transport food releases green house gases that lead to global warming.
So, it makes no sense to move people away from a natural year round food source.
