Perhaps you'll do better on a bigger board... A 28 or 30 inch is better for a beginner.
Tight the bushings of the trucks to make it a little bit more stable.
But if you're committed, once you get it on that penny you'll be cruising in any other size board for sure...
Thanks,I thought loose the bushings a bit will be easy to turn around?
Got the 22 cos its easier to carry around but u r right, a bit scary to put both feet on the board lol maybe my feet are too big...
The pink colour is encouraging
I think so too hahah!
Be careful dear.best of luck.
Thanks
I'll stick to inline skate. If ever, I'll go to a hoverboard
hoverboard looks fun too
Uhhhhhhh. Only fall on soft stuff?
I haven't skateboarded much in the last 45 years or so, but when the wheels were still made of clay I did quite a little. You learn by falling. Try moving your front foot around until you get the balance you like.
Have fun learning something new.
good advice, I'll try!
Yo, that's sick @joythewandered.
Penny boards are a fun and fast way to move through the city once you get the hang of it!
My advice would be to start learning how to ride with tight bushings and after you feel comfortable enough you can loose them so you can start turning left and right easier.
Also, don't be afraid to fall. Falling is fun! Hehehe!
Good advice thanks. I worry if I fall I break some bones hahah
Well I do not think so but you can wear some protection gear at first! Just take it step by step and enjoy the procedure of learning!
Welcome to the world of skateboarding @joythewandered. Have you ever tried skating before?
You can add #skatehive as one of your first 5 tags or share your post at SkateHive Community so we won't miss it!

I've tried it today! In the garage, it's easier to cruise in the garage than the road.
Penny boards are cool & cute, but they’re very small & difficult to maintain balance & turn. Make sure to wear elbow pads, wrist guards & a helmet. Then Later I’ll teach you how to skate in a pool.
I'm sure you'll be great at it! You got a great deal for that board, congrats!
Thanks for encouraging girl ^^
