Yes, you are so correct, do not share your personal information with just anybody. Most sites out there are legitimate and you don't have to much to worry about. But there is always that one site that will abuse your information and you are left vulnerable. Unfortunately there are many hackers and thieves out there that are trying to take advantage anyway they can. Good advice on protecting yourself.
