This is me, Reala. Yeah, it's my original name. I'm the same @rem-steem in Steem/Steemit.
It's a very obvious reason why I'm changing my name in Hive. And it's not just about the user name. It's a totally new account. So, I have to start over to build my Hive profile. It's not a clever idea, I know. But I really don't want to run the Steem legacy in Hive. So I made this hard choice.
I didn't want to make my user name awkward here in Hive. I do have several other crypto accounts outside Steem where I use the name 'Rem'. It's the first letter of my two-part original name. Whoever thought that this day will come? Steem will split out and we have to move to hive?
I was talking about it earlier like, whether I should come up with a new account, start a new journey. But I was not sure. It took me one year and three months to build up my Steem account. And as Hive account is just the mirror of Steem account so I'm ruining it all.
I know and I'm worried that I have to build my reputation, my reward pool, my followers everything from scratch. But very deep inside, I'm feeling confident. It feels like an opportunity. An opportunity to not do the same mistake again which I did in Steem. An opportunity to make a new fresh beginning.
I'm still very confused about whether I took the right choice or not. There are so many questions like, how would I manage two profiles? How much time it will take me to let people know my name? How will I do in the upcoming days?
But, for now as Hive would be my major focus so, I guess that I will figure it out. Finger crossed for me!
What will happen to my old @rem-steem account?
I will use that in Steem for sure. And in Hive, I will use it as a cold-storage account I guess. I will gradually move my fund to this new account to make an impact. But, I need time to see the growth of this account. I already have delegated 2000 SP (or Hive power) to this account from my @rem-steem account to make it run. But I will solely do Hive with this @reala account.

What's the background of this new @reala account?
Ah...I just opened this account like seven or six months before as per I remember. The major reason was to use Steemhunt from this account. As many know that I used to be on Steemhunt. But after a few months, I figured out that many people have a negative thought (or I would say they don't want to see Steemhunt post on their feed) about Steemhunt. And, as there was no 'hive community' that time so, people who followed me in Steem got to get my Hunt posts on their feed. I observed several 'unfollow' and 'slow down in getting followers' in my @rem-steem account. So, I give it a try to use Steemhunt from @reala account.
But later, I figured out that it's very tough for me to continue in two accounts like this. Also, raising hunt scores to get the Steemhunt vote was difficult. So, I came off from the idea. And this account was like idle for months.
So, this is the background story.
Now everything depends on you and to the community and obviously to me too. How people, you will accept me, how I will do and all.
I'm not giving who I'm and what I do in detail rather focusing on my Steem-Hive profile because you will get more information about myself from the footer of my post. I'm also working on a video to introduce myself in detail.
I'm not sure if I'm gonna succeed this way or every dapp will work this way. If not then, I'll be back on my old @rem-steem account!
