Trump Appears To Lose His Cool, Says He’s The “Chief Law Enforcement Officer In The Country”: One of the most distressing aspects of the Trump presidency since day one has been Donald’s dogged determination to be absolutely wrong about almost one hundred percent of the things he thinks about government, the Constitution, the role of the Executive, and even basic laws, regulations, and guidelines.

In fact, what actually exacerbates an already-bad situation regarding Trump’s understanding of America is the GOP’s willingness to simply remake the country in the image of whatever it is that Trump thinks at any given moment. Is it a country where you get to break campaign finance laws and then change them later retroactively so what you did wasn’t illegal? Apparently. Are we a nation that tolerates foreign interference in our elections? Apparently it’s now policy to seek it out.

So maybe it will come to you as no surprise that Trump is unclear as to what his presidential duties, power, and actual job description are. Reuters White House Correspondent Jeff Mason tweeted today from the tarmac at Joint Base Andrews where Trump was about to board Air Force One en route to Los Angeles:
