Im getting really cranky about not knowing if something is AI or not... its really really really starting to annoy me. i was just reading @honeydue post that you reblogged, i wrote a reply over there so won't repeat all that. i USE AI... but not necessarily for what i COULD use it for. Being a "creative" a love creating and really value authentic effort. There are lines and i don't like them crossed.
its why i post so many progress shots and leave spelling mistakes IN my posts... lol...
the thing that is annoying me today... ok yesterday... was watching you tube shorts and like 85% of them are little funny skits of things... and im like is this AI... like its a funny scene where someone sneaks up on someone or falls into a pavement drawing... or a baby babbles and it sounds like words. Its totally left me not enyoing ANY of them because i can't bring myself to like ones that might just be AI... I want the real ones...
the AI art is really pissing me off... i have no problems with creating it... and using it... i mean i have created some that i have printed out and put on walls. however i PAINT. so i mostly PAINT real things. i would NEVER pretend that my real work was AI just to try and make a buck.
I was saying over on honeydues post that i have been know to cut and paste the artworks posted here on hive into an AI checker ... and yup... many of the "here is a drawing i did" ones where there is just some dumb picture and no text, you better believe it... its AI....
I hear that. I don't think you're a real creative if you are using AI and the end result is all or part AI created. Makes no sense. The more I think about it the madder I get.
im not as bothered if you declare it... if you say.... hey i made this with AI and then edited it... that is different... im at peace with that... (though its not truely 100% your work)
and agree with you... its not you being 100% creative
or if you say... wow... look at what AI did... and post it... thats different...
Im happy to look at the marvel of the AI creation..
its the peeps that PRETEND that they did it.. and say "oh but it was my prompt..." thats great... but you are not sharing a prompt and what you made AI do for you... you are pretending you painted it...or took the photo... or filmed it...
I agree with you, it gets me mad. Anyway im off painting... just popped back on while the underpainting dries :-)
