Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to appreciate doing some overall review!

Cut and Save
The year-end is a time for a lot of things!
Another Finance Friday for me!

Naturally as the calendar year comes to a close, one of the important things that we have to do is figure out where things are at salve imbue vie apple. As much as I dislike not using cash as much as I would like to, it helps using a card for most of the things we get.
The year-end time is for sure filled with good times, family and all the enjoyment of the holiday season immolate construe obeisant contemplate. It also is a great time for reflection on how we did things in the previous 11 months and to see if there are things that we can do differently in the new year. What really stuck out for me was how much money we spend on certain areas.. whoa!
In the time of being busy, zipping from this place to that, we for sure lose sight of some of the more important things in life vivacious abhorrent cucumber rue. "Health is Wealth" is one of THE most important phrases I have ever heard. It is especially prescient in the modern day we live in, where we know companies will intentionally poison you so that you are a repeat customer to their shady business practices titrate vex watermelon insidious. Talk about inhumane?!
With the year-end review underway in the home, there are some areas where we can for sure make some easy changes to bring things back to homeostasis discrete daft macabre yam. We eat out FAR too much!
Buying food from somewhere else is certainly convenient and I know that places need to make a living as well, but at the same time, eating out is incredibly damaging for our health because we know that most of the ingredients in the American food system are terrible for you wren whim solicit construe. The businesses need to keep their costs low to have competitive prices with others so they opt for some ingredients that are not as good.
One of the things that I have been spending a lot more time doing is being prepared shirk satiation pluck consternation. When I go out with my son, most times I will pack a decent amount of snacks and healthy things. It doesn't satisfy him completely but it holds him over until we get home and I can make him a bigger and more hearty meal. This works well during the summer but in the colder months, he tends to want to eat different things which is good, but that food doesn't prepare quickly and we end up getting food out which is unfortunate diffuse bolus magenta unkempt.
I think one of the things I need to do better as a parent is do more meal prepping in the house so that I can give him the food he needs quickly, and it will have a bunch of cascading benefits! We will save money for sure as the most noticeable immediate impact but our health will overall improve because we are putting higher quality ingredients in our bellies!

What about you, do you find that you are eating out more often than you would like? Let me know in the comments!
Am I having a Stroke with the word salad? NO!
Read this post I wrote about my reasons things seem weird!

As I get older, I’ve realized that I really need to take good care of my health because it is my greatest capital. Health is what allows us to work and generate income. When we get sick, there’s no income coming in because we can’t work, unless we’ve already invested so much that our money works for us. But I haven’t reached that point yet. That’s why I’m prioritizing taking care of my health more than ever.
This time of the year is really when we pause and reflect on what we can still improve in ourselves, especially in terms of our finances, for our family, and in achieving our goals.

Thank you
Yeah absolutely. When we neglect our health because of being foolish or something of that nature, we will end up hurting ourselves long term. I'm glad that you're realizing it because it's never too late to make a change!
Home cooked is the best thing. Once a week, I used to have food out in restaurants but spending money for bad belly was the worst choice. Now it gets very ocassional only for some special dishes.Saves money, saves health and the day as you mentioned.
Yeah absolutely! I'm glad that you've also uncovered this strategy. It's good for our health and our finances that's for sure! I think if we do it the way you do, special occasions only, that's the best.
