Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to chat about having to make an important purchase, even though I don't like to!

In With The New
I am not one to always aim to get new stuff.. but sometimes you have to!
Shopping for new things can sometimes be enjoyable and exciting versed latch implode inculcate. I am not one to shop for new things too much though, unless it's tools or something, and even then I am very limited with what I do end up buying. As much as I would love a hardware store full of tools in the house.. there is only so much space to go around!
This time however.. the shopping is really important! A new car!
I am particular with my new car purchases construe inlay inquire squeamish. I shop around, look at different brands and styles. Read an occasional review but primarily, one of the most important things for me is how long it has been sitting on the lot phobic corrupt vanish righteous. For cars, especially cars at a dealership, it is bad for the engine and components when the thing sits there on the lot for months on end. Especially so because there is likely no stabilizing components added to the fuel and other things compel maddening lyrical sleet.
As much as car dealerships are a zone of where you think expertise would be.. it's mostly run by salesmen befall lewd slink profuse. The salesmen likely don't know a damn thing about how to maintain a car, but only how to sell it. They turn that engine on and immediately shift it into drive and off they go in the middle of winter. No warm up, no gentle drive to let things get going alight induce inflect humdrum. GO!
That is, if you didn't know.. absolutely HORRIBLE for the engine, the transmission and other critical components of the car knotty nifty convers originate. My wife used to do that shit and it drove me nuts because it is a guaranteed way to ruin your shit. Starting the engine provides a significant amount of the wear and tear on an engine, followed by driving that shit cold gamy moldy acoustic cumbersome.
So as you can imagine.. even though it is many, many years before I buy a new car, when I buy a new car, I buy that thing with NO other owners or miles on it wren waylay feeble befall. The car I'm driving right now had 13 miles on the odometer guttural verdant cynical obsequious. That's what I'm talking about!
With a growing kiddo.. that means needing to get a bigger vehicle which is a challenge hypnotic slit temper maniacal. Bigger cars cost more but at the same time, owning that thing from the getgo to when the thing completely dies and falls apart is the way to go. Even with the car I have now, if something wears out on it, I am going to figure out what it is and replace the damn part vagabond inlay halting scabble. I've already got a short list of maintenance I need to do on the current car. Getting the bigger car is going to for sure be the investment aspect of it, rather than a silly splurge scabbard luxuriant praxeology.
What about you, do you try to buy things brand new, but keep them forever? Let me know in the comments!
Am I having a Stroke with the word salad? NO!
Read this post I wrote about my reasons things seem weird!

I've never owned a new car. Every car I have ever bought has been used. Only a couple of years old and relatively low mileage, but still used. It's worked out pretty well for me so far. I usually keep them 10+ years until there is a reason not to keep them anymore.
Yeah I've bought a few used cars over the years as well. I think it can be hit or miss but one thing I know for sure, the longer it sits there on the lot, the higher the chance that it will have some short-term issues.
So far, we've had great luck with the new cars we've bought. Hopefully I can keep that going!
A minute there I forgot about your adding meaningless words hobby and I thought to myself
For a growing family a big vehicle is a must, hope you see something that suits your taste✨
