Having experience with OR environments myself, it can be stressful for sure but you get used to it after a while. There are certainly aspects of it that are more challenging than others but it’s also very rewarding which is nice!
I think it’s a good thing that you jot down these various one sentence points periodically! Helps organize things mentally for sure.
It's definitely rewarding for sure as I've heard that from my partner.Sometimes despite the long hours, he just likes it there. In fact, if he doesn't work, he's always trying to find something to work on.
