I think a lot of this is just overblown bullshit like the dot com bubble. There’s almost no substance to the shit and it’s pushed on us day in and day out as if it’s amazing. It’s not, it’s actually fairly depressing.
The dead internet is an absolutely more prevailing theory now than ever. Not only is most of the content probably created by AI but the links are all dead as well if you go back beyond a few pages. If you get a search engine to paginate the “575,000” results at about page 60 or so are the same original links and then it errors out. It’s all horse shit!
