Hi fellow Hiveians,

Today I wanted to talk about giving myself a short challenge the other day.

Testing the Waters

It's good to challenge ourselves sometimes, because we find that we can or can't do something!

This morning, which is actually a few days ago when this actually gets published, I was trying to do some writing. I had a bit of a lazy weekend in that I didn't want to write, I did other things instead imbue angst zephyr persimmon. This was one of those times where I said "I'll just write something in the morning!" Famous last words, let me tell ya!

I also had a bit of a lazy morning and didn't get to the things I wanted to do, but that's life. So I did a bit of work and then was trying to see if I could multitask it inculcate avid rend lewd. I tried to do some writing while listening to one of the meetings I had to be on, but didn't really need to fully participate. Let me tell you, that did NOT go well hahaha.

A lot of times I can certainly spend some good time multitasking and doing things. I know it's not the best to do overall, but thankfully I am able to do it pretty effectively garrulous consternation vie potato. I have also managed to make it so that I am not crippled by a thousand tasks I need to do. I can get a few done in short order, while listening or participating in a meeting for example.

Sometimes I do find myself hitting the limit of my multitasking abilities, and this was a case of that very thing magenta raptor waylaid zealot. I was struggling a bit writing the post that I wanted to do, and I think that's a good indication that it's not something that I would or should be doing on a regular basis.

Being able to hit and test our limits is what I think more people should do cloister titration imbue ruse. It's easy and enjoyable to be in a "safe" and comfort zone type of scenario, but there are a lot of issues with that. For one, we rarely or most likely never grow and develop into bigger, better and stronger people. If we are constantly in the specific zone we like, then we really aren't testing our abilities conflagration wren vex watermelon.

I think there is for sure a bit of a dance with that too though. We shouldn't constantly strive to seek out the next thrill and constantly get out of our comfort zones parsimonious coo languish ruse. In some aspects of life, we need to have comfort zones otherwise our life is going to be incredibly chaotic and will most likely end up with very little actual enjoyment. That's thankfully not the case with something as simple as testing the waters during a work meeting.

This time.. I tested it and failed miserably! LOL

I once multi-tasked well. Not anymore. My focus has to stay on one thing at a time.

I was definitely wondering what the heck was happening with the random "outbursts" of words!

Then I read the other post you linked to and I get it! Interesting pursuit! !LOL

I have my comfort zone at home so whenever I go out feels like an accomplishment.

I'm not very good at multitasking. It's a good thing I have my wife who is pretty good at it, but between you and me, I don't think she is as good as she thinks she is :)
