Good read!
A lot of the information you share, I didn't know. Some of those projects were already running when I arrived at Hive, but I had heard about them. I think it's important for the community to know this so that everyone can judge and make informed decisions. I still haven't voted on the proposal; I mainly believe it's misdirected. I don't think new features are the key to attracting more people; rather, we should focus on retaining existing users. That's a challenge in itself!
Thanks for reading. I think there's a balance to be had for new features and retention - I think some of what the Leo team has done is absolutely a net benefit to the chain. I don't know that hundreds of thousands of dollars to onboard folks who are just going to cash out into their native coin of choice is a smart move though. I just don't see a return on that. Particularly when what they most interact with is InLeo. It feels like a very one-sided deal where we take on all the risk and they reap all rewards.
