I also recently saw one user. His KE was over 100. He had received about as much rewards as me. But not only did he power down most of it... he also was happy about not buying HP. And said that Hive rewards should be abolished. This seemed really comical and...weird coming from someone who himself had earned and powered down a lot of Hive in the past.
I would prefer if Hive would stay at this level for a good while and not fall or rise much more. In that case maybe be the end of 2027 I would reach 100k HP. Curation rewards at that point would be really cool. But that is a bit of selfish mindset. For Hive as a whole a rising price would probably be better.
Unfortunately, what we see most often is users saying one thing and doing another. They forget that the blockchain is an open ledger.
Well, if the user you're referring to doesn't want rewards, they can simply refuse them or burn them. They know too much...

I hope so. it would be easier if I did not plan to frame my current piece and would not need buy wooden briquettes to heat the house. But I think that it should be doable regardless. Even at 40+k HP I am already quite happy how fast my stake grows.

It's just that your rewards aren't. That's why I wrote in the comment: "Some curation groups despise those who buy HIVE, they don't vote for them." You're one of those cases.
I don't think that my rewards are bad. Some of my posts(mostly gaming or other long post) are worth a few dollars so for me that seems huge. Sure some of my art posts also get less than a dollar...But I just assume that curation projects are focusing more on newbies. And after they learn how to walk that support goes to some new users again. Would I love it if all my posts got at least dollar+? yes absolutly. But if attracting new users and possibly investors means that my rewards will be less than a dollar that seems like a fair price to pay.
