brilliant insight into the state of the engagement levels in the hive. I wish there was an answer. It is not only AI that is fucking the system up, it is chancers looking for a quick fix too. During the recent challenge on worldmappin my posts got above the normal comments from people who now it has ended have not dropped in again, this I guess was due to comments being incentivised, they were not interested in my uploads, just commenting to "get reward points".
I no longer respond to comments on my stuff to anyone with a reputation less than 70 unless they stop by at least twice. I guess I am "tarring everyone with the same brush"
But I have gone past caring now, even in the short period I have been here I have noticed changes, and don't get me started on auto votes!
This is not new and it's been an issue since ages. You see them dropping in, posting a comment that most of the times says literally nothing, just spinning what you said or some general bullshit, just to say something.
I get a lot of these, I'm replying to them, but honestly it's sad and tiring as well. These are just spam comments, looking for attention. I'm already ignoring the non English comments and maybe not a bad idea to ignore the stupid ones too.
