RE: Forget the KE - Try This Co-Efficient

Honestly, it is nobody's business what anyone does with their earnings.

That's worse than dictatorship.

People spend money on Art, people spend money on drugs. Its the same money. Maybe for some, its the same euphoria. Perhaps some do both at the same time.

But I know that as someone with a highly analytical background, being able to balance it with my heart is something I've only matured into being able to do in the last few months. I'll keep getting better at that.

As I said in comments elsewhere, and as we can ceaselessly say: What is HIVE? What do you see it as? What is the goal?

I answer these questions with:

A place to be social. A place to make connections. A place to keep rambling, ranting passionate people like me from tugging on the sleeve of strangers on the street to tell them about my deep and passionate notions on the things I am interested and fascinated with.

One day I'll leave HIVE, but I don't know when that will be. One day will be someone's last HIVE post. And someone's last hive post will be because of people judging another based on numbers that are in their wallet, and that is deplorable, reprehensible, and exclusionary.

If you want to tell people what to do with their money, go become an Australian politician and limit people to a debit card for their welfare payments that can only be used at a certain selection of merchants for a certain selection of services.

Australia isn't a totalitarian regime, but that is something that has happened in this country. Look for the stories of those poor people, and ask yourself, if you want to bestow votes who don't meet a magical metric, then don't complain when there's no content and there's a whole bunch of people who will have some very valid statements to make about the treatment of humanity on the HIVE blockchain.

Yes. That's the Heart Metric.

I can't believe you haven't rigged on my sleeve before this year, and I you.

If we don't have a good HM here, we don't have a place worth being, even if we have awesome KE scores.

Tugging on sleeves, riding on coat tails, I'll do anything for deep, profound, meaningful, yet ultimately, pointless conversation.

Maybe my calling is as a cab driver or an uber driver. Just to have deep and profound, wandering conversations with people as they move through their life.
