I was seriously amazed to see rain today and it was not just a low intensity rain it was very torrential like what we describe as it "rained cat and dog".
The surprising thing is that as at this morning, there was no sign that it was going to rain, on the contrary,
we had a very sunny day, The sun was so hot.
The weather was so bright but the fascinating thing was how the weather changed in just 30 minutes.
About 2:00 p.m, it became cloudy the sky was pregnant and was about to drop, everyone at work began to be scared. Of course we didn't expect it to rain and nobody actually came to work with umbrella so people became worried about how they would go home.
However, while we were contemplating on how to leave, we decided to rush down home. About few meters close to my house, the clouds open up it rained heavily, we ran hoping to catch up,
At a point we had to give up due to the increasing intensity of the rain. I was almost getting soaked.
I had no where to go than to rush down to someone's house nearby to take shelter, After about 1 hour or more it finally came to a stop.
Another issue arose, everywhere became flooded because of how torrential the rain was and due to the poor drainage facilities.
I couldn't step out. I literally stood because everywhere was literally flooded.
While standing out to figure out I discovered a bushy path that was not flooded I had to follow it. Although it was risky because of the presence of dangerous creeping creatures.
After navigating these path, I finally arrived home tired and exhausted.
All the samey I Thank God for the rain. Farming activities for the year will commence seriously.
