I am not getting any attention on Hive.

I am an artist, and I am creating content. I don't have time, but as drawing is my passion, I draw, and with this platform, I have got the motivation to follow my passion and do something that people can admire.
I am an introvert, and this hive is perfect for people like me who want to be anonymous but show our talent to the people.

I have started the series of art, but I am demotivated. I am not getting any comment upvotes, not even any criticism. It's like people are avoiding me. And it frustrates me. I am not complaining that I am perfect, but at least give me a criticism and a compliment if you like something. Ignoring is the worst thing I could want.

Real art is not defined by perfection but by the feeling it evokes. I am making by step-by-step process for people, but others are getting likes and attention while me lost in the dark somewhere, I am no one. It's like a sign that you cannot even make a single person pleased with your art.

Hello there!
I am not up to a week here yet, but here is the advice I got from a fellow hive user, "Do not expect too much from hive", I guess this is what he/she was talking about when he made that statement to me.
I understand that not getting all the attention you seek can be frustrating and depressing, but I think you should give it some time.
And for people to notice you and also engage your posts with comment, likes and criticism you seek, I was told you also have to explore, connect with people too through your comments and engagement with them as well.

You have to reciprocate or give out just about the same thing you seek.
Try to explore other people's page and leave comments too on their posts, that way they notice you too.
This is the advice I got and I am trying to connect with people myself.
I want to thrive in Hive with my untold stories, so I will do my best to let my words get to people as well.

So don't give up and don't be discouraged, just keep trying and don't forget that the audience and attention you seek only lies in your hands.
Put yourself out there first to be noticed and seen, then you will give people the reason to follow and engage your posts
Happy Good Friday to you my friend!

Thanks brother I really appreciated it.
Thank you for giving me so much time to write those stuff, it really make sense. Thank you so much.

Whining about what you don't have or don't get will take your focus away from the things you should be doing to gain what you want.

My advice is to stop complaing and focus on posting with passion, personality, and effort.

I think the others here have said it well. Put in the effort that is legitimate and you will get things out of it. Don’t ever expect hand outs and don’t compare yourself to others. Hive is very random with some things.

Thanks brother, I really appreciate it.

I have started the series of art, but I am demotivated. I am not getting any comment upvotes, not even any criticism.

Why get demotivated? Do you know how many months I stayed here before I started getting noticed?

You have to be patient enough, accept whatever you see, persevere and keep engaging with others. Hive is even better off now compared to the days when I started -steemit- when vote buying was enormous.

By the way, who invited you to the platform? Appearing anonymous wouldn't help much. You need to introduce yourself to the platform, update your profile and a profile photo.

Have you ever thought of how people feel when they bust into your profile?
Personally, your profile feels as though it one of those who were banned here but showed up in another form.

Also, don't give up on your art series. That is what helped me improve in my art especially my pen drawing. You haven't even reached 50 drawing series and you are ranting. Keep calm and keep improving. What works for another person might not work for you. Find what works for you. Also try to engage in contests.

Kindly consider those advice I gave you up there.
