Yeah - during the hack they got in and vandalised a ton of my work.
Even my soundtrack.
Busy seeing what damage (if any) there is here on my new account. That will make it clear whether I can or can't write online anymore.

Yo no la uso para escribir mis posts, solamente para traducirlos (uso Copilot) porque mi inglés no es tan bueno como para escribir un post completo.
Creo que la IA puede ser útil para algunas cosas (como traducir, corregir ortografía o gramática, hacer tablas, reunir datos, estudiar idiomas, etc, teniendo claro que estás sujeto a múltiples errores y equivocaciones por parte de la IA). Todo el mundo no tiene ni el interés ni el tiempo de buscar y contrastar fuentes para saber la veracidad de lo que ha obtenido de una IA. Así que habrá quien lo haga con más maestría y quien no tenga maestría en absoluto. El mundo siempre ha sido así desde antes de la aparición de la IA.
Pero bien, no me gusta la idea de tener que leer aquí en Hive un artículo escrito con IA, o que alguien no sea capaz de escribir algunos apuntes sobre la vida simple y cotidiana y se lo encargue a la IA. Siempre se siente falso, es horrible. Cualquier persona puede escribir unas lineas de la misma manerea en que habla con un amigo o con un grupo de personas sobre un tema tal. Puedo decir tantas cosas al respecto de esto... espero que @riverflows lea por acá. Lo dejaré en español. Nada de IA.

I agree, but there's a LOT of money being thrown into data centres and I think idiots just love ai content of cats doing silly things... They'll never tire of it.
Nah - I disagree.
Right now it's a novelty to those who didn't know how to program or use photo editing tools to create on their own.
I think most people who don't do this will either tire of it or use it for their own design purposes. So designers will be out of a lot of work. But the endless stream of "I made this with ai!" will abate.
People will be, like, "Yeah, yeah we already did this in 2024, 2025 and 2026."
People get bored quickly.
I think we should have our answer to this debate in the next year or two.
