RE: Being A Kid For A Day

Haha. Sorry, I didn't explain myself well. I mean, make it a more frequent part of your life, as a form of mindfulness, "Artherapy"

“Two left hands” no no, nothing like that, it's just that many people have told me that they find drawings with a lot of detail overwhelming, that's why I always recommend the simple ones first, at least that's what worked for me. But if you can handle this one. Go for it!

Happy weekend to you too 👋🏼.

I think it all comes down to some basic skill, focus, dedication and supplies. As you see, I took out my pencils as well but having to deal with so small spaces makes it difficult, you hsve to sharpen your pencils every minute, therefore I used ink.

If you don't recognize the problem, there comes frustration and instead of a therapeutic effect, you get exactly the opposite.

I didn't go for the complex ones as again I only had very limited time and I knew I can't finish it, but it's coming 🤪

Perfect! I hope you'll show us the result when you have more time. I started one today and didn't make any progress, just stuck in the middle 🙃 and I chose a really simple one, but I just couldn't do it 🫠.

I will show you my progress for sure.

But why couldn't you finish it? Lack of time or inspiration?

It's a nice one in any case.

I think what's happening to me is a lack of concentration. This week I've wanted to do a lot of things but haven't been able to 😖. Especially when I'm drawing, I focus on my thoughts to try to organize them, but even this strategy didn't work for me today, which is why I didn't make any progress. I'm always encouraging everyone to do art therapy, but this time I couldn't even do it 😅🥹. I guess I'll try again tomorrow, and if not, later in the week. Anyway, I always post them in my posts when I finish them with a reflection on what I got while drawing. I'll wait for yours too 💕.
