My present existence is more jaded and less idealistic than when I was younger. Though presently I am able to clearly see real opportunity everyday all around me. Something that my younger consciousness lacked.

It's apparent to me that especially in the past two years, due to The Event, everyone has reached a high point of cynicism, which has caused a lot of us to become more jaded than ever before.
We must not forget to stand firm and not let our jadedness consume us...as it's not healthy.
