Reagan demaded that congress pass a law, nicknamed the Kiki Camarena Law, authorizing the US to cross borders, into any country and with force, in order to bring to justice people who had violated US law. The Kiki Camarena law was used to justify Noriega and now Maduro. Indict someone anyone anywhere, and any country they are in can be forciby invaded. Pretty interesting. Reagan.
This interview has an interesting perspective.
I'm no fan of Reagan.
I didn't send this because I thought you supported Reagan. The first half of the video is very informative as to the motives at play here. In short, if the US has Venezuelan oil, it is no longer dependent on Iran and the Hormuz strait. The US will then be free to wage open war with Iran.
If you read @azircon's comment on this post, using Venezuelan oil any time soon is not likely. He is an engineer in the oil and gas industry and has expertise in assessing oil supplies and accessibility. Here's an excerpt from his comment:
Also US is not dependent on Iranian or Saudi oil for decades.
As agmoore mentioned; I am an exploration geologist. I do this for a living.
