Introvert Talks - My Two Cents Worth

The low price of Hive is affecting me badly. But it's not what you think.

So much has happened in the crypto space over the past few days, and it's a case of "if you know you know" because we move on from there. Personally, I think having experienced volatility in both financial markets and the crypto markets, this is not something new. Like the saying goes, diversification goes a long way (although some of them would prefer concentrated bets based on personal conviction, hehe).

As for Hive, it has fallen to around 0.14 USD at the time of writing. I wasn't really bothered about the price movement or my dip in value shown in Hive wallet. If you know me, this is just a hobby (for the 1000th time haha) and I think the concept of a crypto social media platform is quite unique and who knows what the value of Hive would be a few years down the road. But of course, don't take my word for it, I am just half dreaming. Hahaha.

Anyway, I was going about with my usual stuff, and then I saw how low my vote value had become! o.O

My max vote usually is around 7+ cents, and now it is at 5.4 cents. A few votes here and there and my vote value started to dip very quickly. As most people would know, there's this minimum threshold of 2 cents to cross. For someone who has a habit to vote 50% on comments, this very quickly became an issue. And that's why I am posting this to "rant".

It's not really a big issue, but I would say it's more of an inconvenience, because I had to be more selective with my curation, and sometimes I had to wait out the hours to let the value recharge.

Of course, I could resolve this problem by getting more Hive and powering up to increase my Hive Power, but I prefer to let the market do its thing and go with the flow.

So I am curious, am I the only one facing this "inconvenience" and having to ration my votes, or are there others who are in the same boat as me? Let me know!
