RE: I deserve larger upvotes!

As Hive grows it may get harder to be noticed. It will take work to build a following and still get ignored by the big accounts. I may do well by getting in early and then being really active as well as attending a lot of events. My hourly rate may not actually be that great.

I always say that Hive offers opportunities and is up to you to make the most of them. The whales will have their own reasons for how they vote, but there are thousands of others who could support you. If you can bring in new people then you can make it more fun.

It may not seem 'fair', but anyone can earn something here. Enjoy the freedom.

Mostly I agree with you, I have similar opinion. "There are thousand of others could support you"..... This is good words. I wish I could type my opinion longer but I have limited in English.... That is nice! ☺

You have to find your audience, but Hive is still pretty small. It can be fun anyway.

Audience and friends ☺

Yes! anyone can earn something here! Everybody's journey is different too and just because someone earned more than you on a post doesn't mean you can appeal to Hive's customer service demanding a larger upvote 😄. I think it's super fun here and most everybody that does well seems to be having fun showing others what they do and interacting genuinely with fellow Hiveans.

I'm actually impressed that people are not nagging me for votes. I do get a few low effort comments that may hope for something, but they won't get much. Genuine interaction tends to be more rewarding.

I call them "vote fishers". hundreds of comments like "👍" in hopes of a vote. Genuine interaction is in fact much more rewarding. This reminds me of something. There's a Ted Talk by Celeste Headley titled how to have a great conversation. It's an oldie but goodie. The best way to have an amazing conversation is to really listen and be genuinely interested in the conversation. You can even disagree! but if you're genuinely listening, you will undoubtedly end up having a great conversation.

I'm not getting many such comments, but it could soon change if millions more signed up. Then we will need tools to filter the flood. I just see people leaving comments every minute or so and that does not look genuine as they can't be reading the posts.

I've had lots of good conversations here, some with people I disagree with :)
