That's annoying. Autosave has helped me out many times, but it has to be working. I hope to get more into video editing with my new PC that should handle it better. I'll be using open source tools for that which should do what I need.

Editing can be tough, but when you get the hang of it, it can be very fun. I have the whole Premiere pro package for 25 a month, which comes with photoshop and a ton of other useful apps. But, I used Davinci Resolve for years, which is free and just as good for editing and colour grading
