A local coffee roaster business is flourishing

The business called Cuba St Coffee Roasters has been slowly growing bigger and better since starting a few years ago. It has been terrific to watch how the creative clever advertising in the form of eye catching painted lettering on the car and van has attracted numerous customers who love to drink coffee.

A line up of people waiting for their daily caffeine hit is always a sure sign of excellent coffee

Check out this old 1960's station wagon, black and white with a dash of red that is always parked in a different position along the road and in front of the coffee shop. It is eye catching!

Or this van that today was positioned down the road from the business.

Why do I know this? Well, this morning I went to market, I was on a mission to buy a kilo of coffee beans. I needed a new bag and considered that it was well past the time to patronise the local coffee roaster business.

And as it happens, today is Market Friday, the fabulous tag created and always organised so beautifully by the ever lovely and extra nice @dwigle. How very conveniently close is Cuba St from my place so I donned my long distance walking clothes and boots to walk the distance. Walking conjured up so many wonderful memories of my long distance walking ventures in Portugal, Spain and Italy. Oh how I miss the spirited fun of my walking buddies as we trekked kilometres together each day.

I happily stepped it out enjoying the kilometre walk up the road.

The coffee shop took me a bit by surprise initially, the whole inside of the Cafe has been re-invented. No longer are tables inside, only lots of bags of roasted coffee beans and baked goodies like chocolate brownies and big yummy scones.

The coffee roasting business emanating an air of flourishing success. Such a wonderful sight and good feel, so happy for the owners!

The upside to this flourishing business is a growing community of newly built houses across the road in a new estate development. Hopefully the residents will often walk across the road for a coffee something to eat and buy the locally roasted coffee beans.

There is a lot more development yet to be carried out on this large piece of land which of course will bring more residents to this part of the Sunshine Coast. My community is really growing and I can only think that this coffee roaster business is going to benefit further from the growing population.

Before I left for my walk back to my home down the road I enjoyed a quiet 10 minutes at a table under the awning of Cuba Street. I sipped on a very smooth and well earned cup of coffee knowing there were jobs waiting for me.

I look forward to trying out a cup of Cuba St coffee tomorrow morning after I grind the beans.

It was fun to go to market and write a #marketFriday post today @dswigle and the Market Friday Community.

I look forward to grinding some coffee beans and trying out a cup of Cuba St coffee. The Flagship Blend was highly recommended by the young man who served me so I heeded his expertise and bought it. I am sure to love it. I will be back to do some more marketing at Cuba St Coffee Shop.

Hope your weekend was a happy one.💜

Thank you Angie - the weeks go by too quickly. Here we are at the end of a week again and another weekend to look forward to

I hope you are not disappointed with your choice. The smell of freshly ground coffee is simply divine! very cool store!

Simply so very true, I love walking into a coffee shop that grinds good coffee beans. Of course it is the place where there is a long line of connoisseurs.
I hope that the coffee beans are all that I am expecting it to be. Tomorrow morning I will find out!
