I just like the exterior of the collie
Finally it happened.I've heard about this place for a long time, but I've never been able to visit it. Yesterday was a real hot sunny summer day (after a week of rainy weather it was nice) and we decided that we should be closer to the sea.
Where else can you be closer to the sea, if not on an island in the middle of the sea. I don't have a quadcopter, so I'll use a photo from the internet to show exactly where we were.
Almost the entire island of Kotlin is occupied by the city of Kronstadt. There is a version that before the flooding of a large part of the land, Kronstadt and the adjacent forts were part of the city of St. Petersburg, which at that time had a different name. This is just a version, but it has many reasons and confirmations.
The so-called satellite image, for all its scarcity, can show some line at the bottom of the Gulf of Finland, which could be the ancient border of the city. Of course, this question requires detailed study, but it is a very inconvenient question for the official history...

But I digress from the main topic. So, a couple of years ago, the place where we are now getting to was...the swamp...more precisely, the wet tidal zone of the island. Colossal work has been carried out (I think so) and now there is a wonderful recreation area. You don't have to pay, unless you want to eat.
It's nice to even just sit here on a hot day. Light sea breeze, shade, pleasant atmosphere. Well, have you had a snack and are you ready to take a walk?

If you suddenly get lost, the compass will help you choose the right direction. But it is almost impossible to get lost here. A very compact area, as rich as possible with artifacts, gazebos, paths, playgrounds.
Remember I told you about the swamp? Now it is also a beautiful part of the landscape. I assume that everything that is not a swamp was brought here from the mainland, the level of the park was significantly raised. It's a lot of work.

I specially showed you a lot of photos without comments. Just feel how much there is here. At the same time, I haven't shown you a quarter of what I've seen. This is despite the fact that the area of the park is not large at all.

That is such a nice place they created, offering people and families a place to walk, exercise or even visit each other with the benefit of the beautiful surroundings. The restaurant is a huge bonus!
It has an interesting history and even though it was a lot of work and money spent, I feel like it was worth it for all the pleasure that is gotten out of it.

Yes, the effort was not wasted, it turned out to be a very pleasant place to relax. There are a lot of people here. We were on a weekday and could barely find a parking spot. I can imagine what's going on here at the weekend :)

yeah. thats definitely a great place to walk and enjoy the seaside and the beauty of old buildings and monuments, that area has a lot of this kind of a stuff.
It seems you have endless old buildings that is well preserved there so that you can have places to visit.
I don't think we have that many here in my place.
