RE: Market Friday - Down South Version

in Market Friday4 years ago (edited)

Most of Ingles' stores are located within 280 miles (450 km) of its warehouse located in Black Mountain, North Carolina. I liked it when I lived in North Carolina. They closed a couple of stores at the end of April, I am not sure why, but, like everyone else, I am sure they are trimming the fat.

Food Lion is a pretty good chain, but, I really like the Harris Teeter and Wegmans, and Whole Foods. I hope that you get at least one of them close to where you will be living. But, Food Lion was my place of choice in a few different locations. They were especially clean, but, they probably were newer stores. I love the new stores. It is like a new car, they just smell better. :))

I like smoked ham too and it is perfect for picnics. It doesn't spoil. You will have to get yourself a smoker too. I love our smoker and some days, putting on a brisket or other yummies for a slow smoke is amazing. Nice shots, especially those orchids! Did you see all those tomatoes!!

Now we are talking! I want to truly thank you for taking part in the #MarketFriday challenge! The entire challenge has migrated from a stroll through a market to a cultural extravaganza. ! It really surprised me, but, also delights me to know how much effort people put into it. It pointed out our differences in the beginning, but, then, it really started showing how many things our cultures share. When the day is done, it shows off how human we all are and how we basically all care about our families and others. I love the experience of it all. I appreciate the love and support given to #MarketFriday! Thank you! Truly! Your participation adds a piece of your world, and I have to say, people are interested in is seeing it. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
