I do the same and it makes sense as so much of it is frozen anyway. I use a vacuum sealer I got it from Cabells's and I love it. I have had it for years and I buy it in bulk and fill my freezer. I freeze fruit and use it in smoothies. The fresh fruit that I pick is short-lived in its season, so I pick it and then pick extra for the freezer.
If I don't have time to make jams in the summer as I am pretty busy, you can't interrupt your fun!! I save it until fall and make jam then. I have already made some, but, will finish later in the year.

We've owned a vacuum sealer for years in some form or another. My wife loves it because then she doesn't have to touch the chicken. Just slice the package and dump it in the pan.
Haha! That is right! I forgot she doesn't like to handle them. I know! I have owned some kind since I left home. It started with Seal-A-Meal and worked its way up. It really is the way to go!
