Hello 👋👋👋there, greatest Hiveans it’s a great pleasure to be here, #TGIF,…its my first post ever‼!.... and seriously I’ve found #Marketfriday very interesting pioneered by @dswigle….it’s beautiful stepping out on a cool day the weather so pleasing i prayed it remain that way…..
So here’s me sharing my experience on a Good #marketfriday shopping, am feeling really excited about this all thanks to @dswigle….for bringing this unique ideology, each of us sharing our experiences all around the world on a Friday, it’s really fun for me …
Okay let’s Dive in…here i go …
This market is not a kind of a mega market, its just by the Road side but trust me you get all you’re looking for‼!.....
So i stepped out to go get some stuff for cooking, i know you might say He’s a guy common‼! Yes am a guy but i love cooking, its a hobby…(don’t tell your sis)……”just whispering”😁😁😁
Before leaving the house i checked some stuff that i have around the kitchen…..so i made my budget of 2000.00 naira
So first on my list was Palm Oil initially i budgeted 600.00, but the lady here told me it’s now 700.00….trust me began bagaining ….she told me that’s the price that recently the cost of it has increased okay!? I said and i paid for it. she has other stuff on her table as you can see so i bought some
After that i bought perewinkle, perewinkle is a sea food, like crayfish, crab among others, it’s very good for the body, its usually sucked or if you don’t like the stress you get the already removed one ….still there’sno stress at all
I just decided on buying both….400.00 naira, that’s 200.00 naira each
Then i moved to the section were they sale “kanda” sorry, its the way we call it,…in my local dialect we call it “Ikpa”….its good for food it’s cow’s skin, that is processed before its becomes this form..so i got thís for 300.00 naira
Then i met this lady selling water leaves and pumkin leaves, so i got that for 100.00 naira
There’s this guys selling onion, tomatoes, potatoes, rice, beans other stuff on a pushable wheel, we call it truck…..like a mobile store you get? Right…so i got there bought onion for about 500.00….
The fun part of it is that you be like a king the way the market sellers be calling out on you to come buy from them,….if you’re not careful you’d just buy from any without buying the real good stuff that you like, trust me they can convince and confuse you at the same time 😂😂😂 to buy from them

beautifully roasted dried fishes will add great test for my soup so i got some for 300.00
