A summary of some of the things I got are seen on the image below:
Now let's talk about the individual items a bit. The first is garden eggs. Lol. If you've followed my previous #MarketFriday posts recently, you will notice that it is a reoccurring item. That's because I enjoy the vegetable.
Garden eggs, Price $0.80
The next item on the list is another thing I enjoy, (I'm more like a serial hobbyist sometimes :)), it's a combination of banana and groundnut (peanuts)
Banana and groundnut, Price $1.2
This other item got me shaking my head in disbelief because this period should be the season of its abundance but unfortunately the price is higher than expected.
Tomatoes, Price $2
You now have the Pepper, I had to get this much of it because the coming days the markets may be on break. Meanwhile, wifey enjoy eating lots of eat unlike me battling with Ulcers.
Pepper, Price $0.3
This is not food item but I had to manage to get it because since the last one got exhausted, I've been too broke to get this body spray because of other priorities.
Body spray, Price $2
This next one is still a mystery to me because I haven't fully figured out why women and children love it so much. 🤪 It's a cartoon of noodles. I have grown to eat and like it due to wifey (A case of Adam, Eve and the forbidden fruit) lol.
Noodles, Price $6
This last one on the post is a product of insufficient funds as you can see. I had to buy half the fish 🐟 for cooking purpose. I couldn't get any meats for now, we will manage what we got. Economy is red.
Fish Half fish 🐟, Price $1
I equally got pineapple for wifey since I don't eat it due to my stomach ulcers. That's all for my #Marketfriday on a Thursday. To join the fun, simply go through the rules below. It's a fun post by @dswigle. Thanks for visiting the market with me.

Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it
Following me and reblogging the post so more see it would be appreciated !! Not a rule, just appreciated, more vision for more views on your posts!
You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post. If you don't and someone reads it, there is nothing to tie #MarketFriday to that post.
Please only one post each week. Believe it not, I run out of voting power if you put in many more than that.
The atmosphere of the traditional market is quite good, the colors of the fruit and vegetables are good, the price are also quite affordable.thank you.
You're quite right about the prices when compared with super malls. Traditional markets also tend to sell food's stuff in their natural state than the chemically preserved ones found sometimes in malls.
Thanks for coming around
Thank you are welcome.
The vegetables always look so fresh and yummy! I am so happy to see you shopping at that market instead of the larger mall-type market. They let you buy 1/2 fish? That is awesome! Don't forget to drop your link! I like to see it get more eyes on it!
I love the concept of #MarketFriday and how our cultures differ and then again, how much they are alike. Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages. Along with the fact of what is normal for where you live? These are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I had hoped that posting here will familiarize you with the world around you just a little bit more. Viewing it from a more personal level as opposed to the newsworthy level gives me a better understanding of the people and a view that is often not seen on television. Sometimes,it seems like I learn more on some social medias about a certain incident than what the news tells me.
I appreciate the amazing support given to #MarketFriday! Thank you! Your participation adds a piece of your world, and I have to say, people are interested in seeing it. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I am so happy to see you here! I hope you have a fabulous day! Hive on!!
Take pictures! Be creative!
As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!
Upped and reposted
Sure, that's part of the advantages of the traditional markets around me unlike the big malls that package the whole fish with a price tag. The traditional markets gives you opportunity to bargain the price too.
Stay awesome
That is one of the reasons I like that kind of market. My big market actually will sell half a fish, the butcher there will cut it for me, especially if it is big. The rest gets wrapped and sold for a discount. I am probably paying for it. LOL
There is no bargaining unless I go to the farmers' markets. I like your traditional market.
Wow, I didn't know there is such in the Western world. That's cool.
I can relate to this very well 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You're just so awesome. Please remain so 🤗
Haha! :) You know it!
This is great, but, I don't get MY post up for #MarketFriday until Friday. I like to have the links dropped on that post for more visibility on your post. People look for them there. I usually try to post a little after midnight, so it is available earlier for people on the other side of the world.
;
Thanks so much. I will surely drop the link when your post is live
