Yes, the caption of the post explains a lot due to the fact that around me, the markets seems to close on Saturdays, and resumes on Tuesdays lately. Hence, there is this rush on fridays because going to the market on Saturdays is super packed with people.
Anyway, I went to get a few cosmetics and groceries. My first stop after going to sort some account issues in the bank was inside the cosmetics shop. I got the things below.
The above picture contains the following:
Errm, talking about the bank earlier, I took this shot in the banking hall customer care area.
From the cosmetics store, I went to get some groceries for the family.
I got waterleaves worth of about $0.6 and had it cut there by the sellers. Thereafter, I had to get other things for the house and my sick mom as mentioned on this post
Bitruit (I hope I got the spelling right) Price $0.8
Broccoli worth of $0.8
Africa Plum fruit : $0.35 for the three.
Garden Eggs : Worth $0.35
A collection of the items.
I got home safe, and we've prepared the vegetable soup called Afang. It's a local native soup.
Yummy
I passed where textiles materials were sold but got none due to insufficient funds :)
Mom will likely be getting some of the things I got for her tomorrow when I visit them. She was recommended to take a smoothie of bitruit and cucumbers. She said it was cool to taste.

STAY AWESOME
You certainly had a good market day. So many people make this soup, it must be a specialty of the house! You did well selecting the different vegetables. How long does it take to cook the soup?
I love the concept of #MarketFriday and how our cultures differ and then again, how much they are alike. Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages. Along with the fact of what is normal for where you live? These are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I had hoped that posting here will familiarize you with the world around you just a little bit more. Viewing it from a more personal level as opposed to the newsworthy level gives me a better understanding of the people and a view that is often not seen on television. Sometimes,it seems like I learn more on some social medias about a certain incident than what the news tells me.
I appreciate the amazing support given to #MarketFriday! Thank you! Your participation adds a piece of your world, and I have to say, people are interested in seeing it. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I am so happy to see you here! I hope you have a fabulous day! Hive on!!
Take pictures! Be creative!
As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!
