Friday arrived and it is necessary to buy food to fill the fridge, one of the biggest challenges is where to put the purchased food, plastic bags are an option and they are given by shops or you can get them on the street from informal merchants, personally I prefer to use a cloth bag.
It can be a school bag from elementary school, from high school, a large or small one, but in the long run it is much more beneficial for the environment and that we can always reuse, I don't know if it happens to them but when I used to buy 3 chickens they put them all in 1 plastic bag and just when I got home the bag broke either at the bottom of the bag or the ties, the plastic gave way completely (A total annoyance)
Now, going to the market is always an adventure, no matter how small the stall is, you can see different products, for example this place:
If you analyze the photo, this small business sells the eggs it needed, it also sells Catalina, Salt for marinating, Sugar, Paper and Casabe, on the cardboard are the prices in Bs (national currency) and as you can see, despite being small, it is full of products.
In the next business we managed to buy the vegetables, I bought with my family the ripe banana or called green banana, red paprika, garlic, carrot and certain plants, yes I am referring to parsley and chives, they are two green branches but with a different appearance and flavor.
Finally, as a farewell to this wonderful community and its readers, I show you a business that sells condiments and grains, I went with my family to the place to buy grains and thus be prepared for Holy Week, it is cultural knowledge in my country that just before To celebrate and commemorate these dates, merchants raise the price up to triple what the product may cost under normal circumstances or dates.

That is so true! During Holy Week, fish and seafood go way up in price as people don't eat meat during this time. A wonderful market you show! Venezuela has prices that are higher than they should be, just like the rest of the world. It is unfortunate that we live in times like this. The vegetable looked really nice, especially for this time of year.
I carry my own bags too, we need to save the environment in any way that we can. This was a wonderful market! I am so sorry for being so late! This was a great post! Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday! I cannot tell you how pleased I am to see so many participating every week. I have learned so much about the different cultures of the world, especially the small things that go unnoticed except by those looking for it. Life is interesting, wherever you are, whatever you are doing.
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
