I just got an ad from Menards saying that lumber is way down now. Good thing you were shrew and waited. I am sure it is a load off of your mind to be doing all the right yet hard work.

I know!! I was so glad to have waited, but, when I saw it going down, I scheduled it! As you said, the price is nearly pre-covid prices and I definitely wanted to get it done this year, before the winter set in. I have already waited a year and a half to get it done. I cannot believe it has been that long, but, it is. I have done a lot of the inside already with painting and pulling out all of the cable wires (remember it is plaster, so you cannot go through the walls) but, there was cable in every room. Pulled all the wires this weekend and the boxes they are attached to. plugged the holes and will paint maybe next week or whenever I have a minute or three.
