Hello everyone,
This is our post for Market Friday of @dswigle.
When we eat out on weekdays, we usually seek out and patronize our local Mom-and- Pop places.
On special occasions, though we indulge a little and would catch dinner at a slightly fancier sit-down restaurant such as the Black Angus Steakhouse. This is the favorite place of my carnivore of a husband. 😊
For years this has been our go-to dining room for Father’s Day, dad's birthday, and even when dad has visiting guests.
Back in the day, there was even a dance floor at the entrance, where patrons would dance to country music. Remember Billy Ray's song Achy Breaky Heart? And the electric slide?
Black Angus closed its doors during the intense Covid years. and we thought it would be gone for good, like many in the restaurant industry. It survived luckily and is now open again!
So for today’s dinner, we picked the campfire feast dinner for two, which used to cost much, much less! The price has really gone up.. which shouldn’t be a surprise, I guess .. given its previous hiatus and.. inflation, inflation, inflation!
We also ordered some appetizers, including a shrimp cocktail and some fried zucchinis, which were all mouthwatering.
The meal also came with salads, and... sides,...bottomless raspberry, iced tea, and dessert...a slice of decadent creamy cheesecake!
It was a sumptuous dinner, which complemented a very delightful, even romantic evening.
Even culminating with fireworks!
Those are delicious food!! I am sure you enjoyed it.
We loved the food and the bottomless raspberry. Thank you for dropping by.
Those steaks looked YUM!
And juicy too! Thank you for stopping by.
The place and the foods are great! In my dream, I wish I will be there!
Pretty soon my friend!
One day who knows hopefully
