While we still canāt shop inside the retail stores yet, due to the pandemic situation, letās go down memory lane... this photos were taken a few years ago in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.
St. Thomas is a large cruise ship destination and a true jewelery shopping mall! Duty free prices encourage tourists from all over the world to make big purchases, believe me, I worked many years in Jewelry business.
This is a lovely boutique close to the ship dock. I was in charge with the visual displays for this company and I took these shots while working on a no ships day... quiet... for a change... it is usually extremely crowded...
I liked the natural wood displays in this shop. New shop, new fixtures, new props, very modern, compared with the historical downtown area that is famous in St. Thomas.
My colleagues were always excited to change the displays! They probably got bored setting up the jewelry the same way day after day!
And here is my favorite designer featured in that shop. I loved his style and I wish I could buy any of those pieces... but never ever in my budget š¤Ŗ
Diamonds š and amazing colored gemstones š°š°š°... something to dream of...
