My creative package

in Market Friday4 years ago

Hello everyone!!! Today is Friday, which means we will talk about our purchases on #MarketFriday by @dswigle!(see details here: https://ecency.com/hive-196308/@dswigle/market-friday-barbados-lesser-antilles-in-the-west-indies)
I continue to learn to draw. For myself, I have already decided that I will paint with acrylic paints rather than watercolors or oils. I wanted to level up a bit and buy more professional paints. I found a very cool store in Tel Aviv and ordered some goods from them to try. I didn't think I'd get it soon. How surprised I was when, literally a day later, the courier called me and said that if I was at home, he would now bring my package to my door. Wow!!!! 😮

I could not believe that my order was delivered to me so quickly!!!! 😀 Israel is an eastern country, here haste is not part of the mentality; no one is in a hurry here. They tell you to be patient! But now I have the package. I open!!! ☺️

So, the canvases are on top. The colors are at the bottom.

Somewhere at the bottom there should still be a brush. This!

Now I will consider everything in more detail. The site of this store had a large selection of canvases: both cotton and linen, Italian (these are the most expensive) and Chinese. I chose medium-sized inexpensive Chinese canvases. It suits me well at my level of drawing.

These are Amsterdam paints - they are considered to be of very good quality. I'm very interested to try them in drawing and compare with what I use now.

The white box is titanium whitewash. I need this for applying primer to canvas before painting.

On top we put a brush - a liner. Look how long this pile is!

I'm glad I was able to buy this. Such brushes are needed to draw thin lines, for example, a cat's whiskers. I painted with a thin brush with a short pile, but I did not do it very well. My friend, who draws superbly, suggested that a special liner brush is needed for such details. The store had several of these brushes of different thicknesses. I took number 2 - this is a thin brush.

I tried to photograph for you the number 2 on the brush. I'm just delighted with my purchase! I hope I can draw with this soon 😃

How awesome!!! I am so excited for you, especially with your new brush and paint! I don't blame you, I would have gotten the inexpensive canvas also, why spend more, right? I like to have a few to practice with, although I say that, but, I definitely do not paint - or do any art! :)

I am amazed that you got it in one day also, but, I am happy for you! I can hardly wait to see what you do with it! This was a great post! Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday! I cannot tell you how pleased I am to see so many participating every week. I have learned so much about the different cultures of the world, especially the small things that go unnoticed except by those looking for it. Life is interesting, wherever you are, whatever you are doing.

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

thank you very much my dear! I decided to choose an inexpensive canvas because I still feel completely insecure in drawing. I want to practice more on this first. Take care of yourself!
