Precisely! Most of the accidental discoveries contributed immensely to the field of science. As you already said Penicillin, likewise; pacemaker, teflon, microwave oven, rubber and so on. This is the beauty of science. You can’t be at a loss if you still make a mistake, your work will get recognised by science itself.
