Hello friend, the activity of man has brought great imbalances in our ecosystems ending with our functional biodiversity. It is very true what you said, first you must know the natural processes before performing any synthetic drug.
It is a very complex issue that attacks many economic interests, there is talk of sustainability but if we continue to exploit our natural resources in an irrational way I do not believe that the much desired sustainability of natural systems is achieved.
