What happens is that from a very tall palm tree, once a nest of those wasps fell on a pile of leaves and branches, I quickly grabbed it, placed it on a tile of a planter and ran away. The wasps stayed there for a time, and as I was always approaching them, I learned that they can be handled with very slow movements. Eventually they all went away and left the nest empty.
I would not have dared to touch them... brrrr..... Very impressive pictures! You seem to be not afraid ;)
