This is true. However, without providing weapons to Ukraine, peace will then come with the eradication of the Ukrainian people. This is by far not in agreement with my definition of the word "peace". If we do nothing, there won't indeed be any Ukraine anymore very soon. For that reason, even if providing weapons won't calm down the situation, this is very necessary.
