Statisticians have been discussing the steady rise in cancer deaths. Many have concluded that the primary cause are things like antibiotics, vaccines, workplace safety and treatments which have reduced the other cause of deaths.
Each time science finds a cure for a common cause of death ... other causes of death arise.
Your post points out that there are numerous types of cancer. The same thing seems to be happening in the world of cancer treatment. Medicine is getting better at diagnosing and treating common cancers. However, since man is mortal, I doubt that the world will end ALL cancer.
