The fireball in the sky

Souce

On May 18 there was a spectacular fireball that crossed the skies of Spain and Portugal. The meteoroid began to illuminate at an altitude of 122 km and ended at an altitude of 54 km where it exploded; All the contributions of all the observers who have seen this object or any other racing car are essential, because thanks to all that data, all those people, all those images that are collected, the trajectory can be traced and the composition of the object can be known. and even where it came from.

And this work has been done by an expert from the State University of San Francisco named Tony Dunn. He has determined the trajectory of the car from the numerous images, observations and the Wake. From the data it was determined that the speed of the object was 165,000 km per hour, and apparently crossed the orbit of Jupiter in September to enter the inner solar system, the object crossed the orbit of Mars in April and ended up colliding with Earth on May 18.

Apparently it descended on the African continent and ended up becoming incandescent already passing through the Iberian Peninsula, it exploded or disintegrated at about 58 km altitude near Porto already in the Atlantic Ocean, so there is no possibility of finding remains or finding them will be very difficult.

Two interesting facts, the color of the object, which was blue in tone, is apparently due to the fact that it had a high magnesium content and another interesting fact is that it was a super bolide and falls into the category of Super bolide because its magnitude has exceeded the brightness, the The flash it gave was greater than that of the full moon.

These are some of the images that have been published of the cars, the one from Montana has been published by the National Meteorological Office and at the moment they have not published data on the speed or the origin, I assume that they will be compiling all the observations that have been made. to try to trace where it came from and what size it was and the composition.
