Going to the hospital every time there is something wrong with the kid is somewhat a double-edged sword.

It is important to do so as self-medication from an incorrect diagnosis may result in strong issues for the health of the child. However, going too often to the hospital may also result in having healthcare services overwhelmed, as a consequence of the hospitals being not funded enough.

I unfortunately have no good solution here, except that of increasing funding for healthcare (which is unlikely to happen in our current societies).

True, the chances are a bit higher than elsewhere ;)

However, going too often to the hospital may also result in having healthcare services overwhelmed, as a consequence of the hospitals being not funded enough.

The only alternative is to enroll in a reliable private hospital, though it is more costly

Ah yeah... I usually forgot those option as I am all in favour of the public system (when this option works of course; this is a country-dependent statement).
