RE: The phenomenon behind Chimerism - Do you know that DNA test can lie while being true ?

That was very interesting to read. The stories you shared consist of a nice complement to the recent blog of @noble-noah, especially as I know have some quantitative estimates which I was wondering about the other day.

In fact, before reading this blog and the one of @noble-noah I had no idea about chimeras at all, and that they were existing. Therefore, kudos to both of you!

Yea, through your comment here, I've been able to come through @noble-noah post, the truth is that most of his concern about using DNA technologies, is really giving rise to new studies and discoveries as the world advances, but the pit fall there as he mentioned, is that most times before the discovery of this new knowledge, most relationships have been damaged

In fact, before reading this blog and the one of @noble-noah I had no idea about chimeras at all, and that they were existing.

The truth is that there has been no much recorded cases about Chimera, it's just about 100 documented cases still existing
But the truth is that many Chimera live there whole life without the knowledge that they're Chimera, most cases of Chimera was known out of controversy.
So that's why it's not really a popular issue

I indeed noted this quantitative statement from your blog. 100 cases is not what we can say a good documentation. However, this will probably improve with time, especially with initiatives such as the one done by the person you told the story.

Have a nice week-end!
