You just tied my brain in a knot. Silly me I thought a vacuum was just a space with negative pressure. Like a vacuum tube being used not only for light but also to house early integrated circuits.
I had no idea about its role in Quantum Physics, but then again I am not well-read in physics let alone quantum physics, gotta love a person that has for further reading links :-D
