My name is Koffi Adeniyi. I am undergraduate student studying Computer Engineering in Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Osun State.
When I first began, the field of computer engineering seemed to me to be shrouded in a great deal of mystery. The course outline seemed like it was written in Greek, and the topics were incredibly intimidating. Despite this, I was certain that this was the kind of course that I wanted to practice for the rest of my life. Consequently, I fasten my seatbelt and get ready to investigate the field of computer science and engineering from the viewpoint of an engineer.
I later realized when I got to level 4 in school that Computer Engineering isn’t just a degree, it’s a way of life. It teaches me to think logically, critically, and creatively. It challenges me to form new hypotheses and test them with data.
In addition to the more traditional education that I received in the classroom, I also gained hands-on experience in areas such as coding, networking, database expertise, and machine learning.
Challenges I face while in school

The ongoing strike called for by the Academic Staff Union of Universities is one of the obstacles I am currently facing rignt now as an undergraduate in Nigeria tertiary public tertiary institution. The ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has been a significant obstacle for Nigeria's tertiary education system for several years. Some of us have already lost interest in finishing our studies in school as a direct result of the ongoing strike by ASUU in Nigeria. I hope and pray that our government will take action to end this incessant strike
How I came across hive
It had been close to a year since I came across hive article online. Actually at first, I was originally hesitant as I had thought it was some sort of scam or gamble, much like I had witnessed my friend lose a lot of money in crypto previously. However, after @ecency article helped me understand the basics of crypto and Hive, I realized that it was neither of those things. I began to understand that Hive was a great place to share my thoughts and skills for free, while still earning some rewards in the process. This was something that I was very interested in, as I had always loved writing and sharing my opinions on various topics. @ecency article was a big help in getting me started on Hive. I have been able to read article on how to create posts and also how to interact with other users on the site. I was really impressed with how user-friendly and straightforward the whole process was. I am really glad that I made the decision to join....

You are very welcome to the Hive community bro. It is really a beautiful place to be and I know you will enjoy your stay. The ASUU strike has been a challenge to many students and there seems to be no hope in sight. But definitely someday, the strike will be over.
